Research activities

Ozlems' research focuses on resilience, sustainability, and digital transformation. She has published extensively in ABS-ranked journals, including聽Supply Chain Management: An International Journal,聽International Journal of Production Research,聽IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, and聽European Management Journal. She is a regular keynote speaker at international conferences and has collaborated with UK government bodies and industry partners such as EV Cargo, ESG Investing Ltd, and the Cabinet Office. She is also the author of books on e-Business and supply chain integration, green supply chains, and sustainable operations


Current Teaching

Ozlem teaches聽 MBA, MSc and UG modules in Operations and Supply Chain Management as well supervises postgraduate student dissertations


Biography

Dr Ozlem Bak聽is a Senior Lecturer specialising in International operationsManagement and Supply Chain Management. She teaches at undergraduate andpostgraduate levels, with expertise in operations management, research methods,and supply chain management. She holds a PhD from the University of EastAnglia, fully funded by the UEA Management School, and her doctoral researchreceived the Emerald Highly Commended Award. Dr Bak has previously heldleadership roles as Programme Director and Programme Leader at BrunelUniversity London and the University of Brighton.

Her research focuses on resilience,sustainability, and digital transformation.
